Who we are

A trade school, not a placement agent.

SB Skills Group teaches five trades to people who intend to work with their hands, often abroad. We are not a visa consultancy and we do not sell jobs. What we sell is training, and a certificate that survives being checked.

Every course here is built backwards from what an employer will actually test on the first day: a weld that passes inspection, a pipe run that holds pressure, a kitchen section that goes out on time.

Are your certificates recognised abroad?
Our certificate is proof that you sat a real assessment and met the standard for your trade, and any employer can verify it online in seconds. Recognition abroad depends on the employer and the country's own licensing, we train and certify honestly to the standard Gulf, European and Canadian employers test against, but no Indian institute can 'guarantee' foreign recognition, and you should be careful of anyone who claims to.
Do you guarantee a job or a visa?
No, and please be cautious of anyone who does. We are a training institute, not a recruitment or visa agency. We give you a tested skill and a credential an employer can trust, and we will honestly explain the routes to working abroad, but we never sell placements or visas.
What does the course fee include?
The fee shown on each course page is the fee: tuition, bench/lab time, consumables and the final assessment and certificate. There are no separate kit charges or exam fees added later. If a cost is not on the page, we do not charge it.
Do I need experience or a specific qualification to join?
Most courses start from the fundamentals, so beginners are welcome. Each course page lists any eligibility (for example a 10th pass for some trades). If you already have experience, tell us, we may be able to place you into a faster track.
How long are the courses and when do batches start?
Durations are listed on each course page, from a few weeks for short skills to several months for full trades. Batches start regularly and in small groups; the next start date is shown on the course page or we will tell you when you enquire.
Where are you located and can I visit?
Our main centre is in Ludhiana, Punjab, and visitors are welcome, seeing a batch at work is the best way to judge us. Use the contact page to arrange a visit.
Do you offer placement help?
We help you prepare, resume, interview practice and honest guidance on where your skill fits, and we share openings we hear about. We do not promise or sell placements. The certificate and skill are what get you hired.
Can I pay the fee in instalments?
Fee settlement is handled at the centre and we try to be practical about it. Ask at enquiry or enrolment and we will tell you honestly what is possible for your course.
What is the NSQF level shown on courses?
Where shown, the NSQF level indicates the skill level of the training against India's National Skills Qualifications Framework. It helps employers understand the depth of what you have trained in.
How do I verify a certificate someone shows me?
Every certificate we issue carries a unique number and a QR code. Enter the number on our Verify page (or scan the QR) and you will instantly see whether it is genuine, free, no account. If it does not appear there, it is not ours.
